Hi to Viewers,

The main objective of this blog is to explain about the Hyderabad
both the as a Historical point of view and explain the current News for the Hyderabad.

I hope all the viewers will share this information to all.

1. Charminar

The first thing come into ours mind when we talk about Hyderabad is "Charminar" & "Irani Chai" hi na.
Makkah Masjid

Makkah Masjid was built during the reign of Muhammad Quli Qutb Shah, the 6th Qutb Shahi Sultan of Golconda (now Hyderabad). The three arched facades have been carved from a single piece of granite, which took five years to quarry. More than 8,000 workers were employed to build the mosque. Muhammad Quli Qutb Shah personally laid the foundation stone of the mosque. The construction was later completed by Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb after conquering Hyderabad.

2. Buddha Statu,
An 18 meter high monolithic statue of Lord Buddha towers over the lake from atop the Rock of Gibraltar. [4] The idea of erecting a giant monolith Buddha statue in the midst of Hussain Sagar lake on the Gibraltar rock was a part of the Buddha Poornima project in 1985. The monolithic statue was chiselled out of a white granite rock, weighting 450 tons. It was carved by 200 sculptors for two years. The statue was transported to Hyderabad in November 1988. After the initial problems, the statue was erected on 12 April 1992 on a red coloured Lotus pedestal. Attached to it, Lumbini park was inaugurated with musical fountains, Bonsai Plants and a boat ride from Lumbini Park to the Buddha Statue. The whole atmosphere reflects peace and perseverance. Madan Singh, Civil Engineer with Endowments Department, Govt. of AP. was incharge for chiseling out, design and carve, transport and install the statue at midst of Hussain sagar on Gibraltor Rock.

Birla Mandir
Birla Mandir on the Naubath Pahad is a Hindu temple of Lord Venkateshwara, built entirely of white marble.
The Birla Foundation has constructed several similar temples in India, all of which are known as Birla Mandir.
The temple manifests a blend of South Indian Rajasthani and Utkala temple architectures. In its entirety, it is made of 2000 tons of pure Rajasthani white marble.
The granite of the presiding deity is about 11 ft (3.4 m) tall and a carved lotus forms an umbrella on the roof. The consorts of Lord Venkateswara, Padmavati and Andal are housed in separate shrines. There is a brass flagstaff in the temple premises which rises to a height of 42 ft (13 m).
The temple is built on a 280 feet (85 m) high hillock called the Naubath Pahad on a 13 acres (53,000 m2) plot. The construction took 10 years and was consecrated in 1976 by Swami Ranganathananda of Ramakrishna Mission. The temple does not have traditional bells, as Swamiji wished that the temple atmosphere should be conducive for meditation.
